The Havanese is a toy dog breed and a member of the Bichon family. Originally from Cuba, the Havanese is a delightful little dog with a big personality. Intelligent, , happy, playful and brave, Havanese dogs make wonderful family pets. They love to learn and need appropriate training.
The Havanese is a small dog and stands about 9-11 inches (23-28cm) at the withers. Havanese dogs have a long silky coat that needs to be groomed on a daily basis. It comes in a variety of colours ranging from white, gold, cream, sables, brown, silver, to black and any combination of these colours.
