The Brambling is a very pretty winter visitor to the UK. I saw my very
first Brambling in my own garden where he (a
beautiful male) had joined the chaffinches at my feeding station. As I
didn't manage to get a shot, we went to the New
Forest in January and again in March and spent several hours watching
these beautiful finches and taking a few photos.
