Sleepy cat portrait WIP

Made some progress on the cat pastel portrait....the reference photo is a bit small so it is hard to see all the detail. Anyhow, getting there I think...

The other pastel portrait I'm working on - the grey mare - should be finished by tomorrow. Keeping busy! ;o)

Pastel horse portrait WIP

Although I didn't get a huge amount of work done on Bea's portrait over the past couple of days, I thought I could still show a quick update:

Friesian mare finished!

I've been working hard since my last post so I have finished the collage of the Friesian filly. Here's another WIP (work in progress) first though that I scanned yesterday.

The reference photos were not very good (especially the action shot was very small) but I managed. So here's the finished charcoal portrait:
