Fine Pet Portraits - an artist's blog

My name is Sandra Palme, I am a professional pet portrait artist based in the UK. I draw your dog, cat horse or any other pet in pastels, charcoal, coloured pencils or graphite. It is my goal to capture the pet's personality and essence as well as their looks. I know how much your pet means to you as I feel the same about mine! Horse finished, pony and cat started

Still keeping busy...and enjoying it! I have started a new pastel commission of a Welsh pony called 'Romeo', finished the Trotter's head study and am also working on a new cat portrait. Here's some scans for you to look at (in case there's actually anyone out there reading my blog!). ;o)

Busy, busy, busy!

Just as well I just finished the portrait of my horse... I've now got several commissions to work on and more to come: about eight cats, eight or nine horses and a dog. This will certainly keep me busy for a while! :o)
