Percheron watercolour painting update

Here's a new scan of the watercolour I'm working on. Painting the tack in particular is quite a challenge but I have to admit I'm having a great time painting this piece. If it turns out the way I'd like it to it might end up on my own wall. :o)

I have also just finished a pastel pet portrait. It is of a dog but as it is a birthday present, I can't show it just yet. I will soon though!

Rhodesian Ridgeback WIP

I have got some work done on the car but I have to say...it is hard work! The dreaded number plate still ahead...oh well, I'll get there! ;o)
I'm also working on a new dog portrait. It is a head study of a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback in pastels. Here's a scan of the work in progress:

New horse portrait

I have started working on a new horse portrait commission. I have not finished the car and cat portraits yet but this one is a birthday present so I need to finish it asap.
