Starlings don't appear to be very popular birds - many people don't want
them in their gardens. I think they're actually one of the most beautiful
but unappreciated of our British birds - their plumage is stunning. Also,
they're very clever birds and so
much fun to watch, squabbling and generally
enjoying life. They're always welcome in my garden and at my feeding
station!
